Is dis mandate to mention the bifurcation of CTC in appointment letter?
From India, Amritsar
Hello, In Appointment letter needs to mention only bifurcation of Gross salary, No needs to mention his CTC break up. Thanking you, Regards, Ashish Thakkar

It is always advisable to give the Breakup of the CTC to all the employees as a Annexure to the Appointment Letter, since the employees should not be kept in dark with regards to the CTC. Nowadays employees do complain that they were promised to give x salary but they are given y salary stating that some of the component is a part of CTC.
But it is not mandate by any law/ACT

It is not a must. They can show in appointment letter or they may mention that the CTC will be as agreed upon mutually in interview. But always clarity in writing will be the best.
