Mine is a slightly complex case. Needs a bit of explanation as it involves 3 companies.
Let the companies be denoted by A,B,C.
After joining Company B, I gave a request for transfer of my previous PF from company A
to be transferred to PF account of Company B. While this transfer was in progress,
Company B got acquired and changed its name to Company C and created a new PF account. So I became
an employee of Company C. Company C initiated another PF transfer of money from account B to be transferred
to C. Now the problem is that all the money was not transferred to PF account of Company C. Amount transferred
from Company A is still present in PF account of Company B.
I want to close the PF account of company B by withdrawing the money present there. Also currently I am no
longer working in Company C. When I sent the PF closure forms to PF office of Company B,
they are not allowing me to close the account and return my money. It seems the money
can be transferred to my latest company only which I do not want to do as it involves
another round of headache.
Need help in this regard as to how to proceed ?

Dear mr mukund,
if you have left both the companu b and c, then you can widraw pf simultaneously from both the account numbers. you have to write a letter to both the companys pf authority that transfer form submitted on ---------be treated as withdrawn stating the reason that you left the company c. and you will withdraw money from both the account. you need to check folowing points
1. your account b is not marked as inoperative if it is more than 36 months of your date of leaving.
2. after leaving company c you hv not joined other company for two months from your leaving co. c.

Sir,
Technically I had left Company B the day I became an Employee of Company C. This event has occurred more than 36 months ago.
