Dear All, I have one query. My company pays the salary amount as a gross, without any breakup. Now that I have joined the organization, I am planning to handle all aspects.

Since there is no basic salary, PF benefits are not provided. If I create a breakup, can I deduct PF with effect from this month, or do I need to deduct it from the date of joining? If yes, is there any hard proof?

Regards, Jyoti
