I am working in a broking company. I joined this company on 03 Feb 2014, and my NISM certificate was attached in the branch on that day. When I asked for an offer letter, they told me that it would come shortly. I received my offer letter on 11 March 2014, after 36 days of joining. In April, I received a salary from the date of the offer letter. However, they are now not giving me my previous salary. What should I do? My mobile number is 9598058309.

Dear Vikash,

I read your statement written on the CiteHR site, and it is quite amazing. Upon joining this company, you should have your contract on your desk the same day, and only then can you start your job. Furthermore, you can approach the HR department again, listen to what they indicate, and then communicate with them in a more effective manner. Both parties should come to a mutual conclusion. If the HR practitioner rejects you and cannot provide a logical response, you can directly contact the HR director or the CEO/owner of the company.

Kiramuddin

Hi,

I have one query – if I am working in Pune and my voting place is Solapur (200 km from Pune), can I take a paid holiday? I have joined my current company two months ago and I am still on probation.

Please revert.
