Dear All,

I am working as an HR Executive for an automobile dealership, and here, as per the company policies, we deduct the cost of the uniform if the employee is leaving within one year. The charges are calculated for the unused months based on the landing price of that particular material.

For example, if Mr. A's joining date is 01/01/2013, and he leaves on 01/08/2013, we charge for 4 months.

I am new to this job. Kindly advise me if there are any rules regarding uniform deductions, and whether what we are doing is appropriate or not.
