Hi Seniors,
I would like to know if you have encountered employees and candidates with mini-MBAs and online MBAs issued by this portal. They state that they are associated with Madras Management Association and have course content developed jointly with IIM, Ranchi. Please tell me if it is worthwhile to register and pay fees for online courses and get certifications from myBskool. Are these certifications generally accepted in the industry?
Thank you.

Dear Suhas,
This is a new course started by a new portal through an online delivery model. One has not come across any such candidates as their process has started quite recently. Any certification has little acceptance in the industry unless it is from a tried-and-tested source or an accredited organization/institution. Even certifications like online or e-MBA through correspondence or online study method from reputed institutions have little value in terms of getting a job solely on their strength. These may just help in gaining some more knowledge or gaining ornamental degrees for fulfilling one's self-esteem or affiliation needs. To attract or enable getting a job on their strength would be too optimistic a thought. If you can spare the money (and time) and in the absence of any other alternative, by all means go through it; but not with an expectation of getting a job solely on this basis.
Warm regards.
