Dear Keralite HR Fraternities,
I am working in a retail chain company in South India based in Chennai. We have some showrooms in Kerala. We are planning to close one of the stores. However, our employees are asking for four months' salary. I argued that as per the I.D. Act, we can pay one month's notice pay and fifteen days' salary for every year they have served, along with EL encashment and Bonus. But, employees are stating that as per the Kerala act, we have to pay four months' salary along with Bonus and EL encashment.
Can anyone guide on the Kerala Procedure?
Thanks in advance.
