Dear Kumar,

You have shared an article. It has two parts, one is the "challenges" and other is "new trends".

As far as new trends are concerned, yes these are important. However, as far as challenges are concerned, nothing is new. These were there even before a decade also. About one and half or decade ago, BPO movement was a big boon to lower middle class because it created big employment avenues for them. Secondly, IT/BPO had neat and clean environment. They are not required to soil their hands like manufacturing. From blue-collar vast populace became white-collar.

Nevertheless, the change of colour of the collar did not change their woes. They have set of their own problems. Even a decade ago they were described as "cyber coolies". Today the situation is no different and this is likely to continue.

I feel that it will take about decade to realise folly of working in this kind of environment. Therefore, let us wait for the wheel to turn the full cycle. As of now the wheel more than half way but not fully.
