Hi all,

One of my clients has asked me to send an invoice of my consultancy charges. I would be very grateful if someone could kindly provide me with the format as I am unsure of what the proper format should be.

Thanks

So you started a consultancy without knowing legal rules and regulations – great job. An eBill is nothing but a scanned copy of a bill/invoice or a soft copy. Make sure to mention your firm's TIN number and STAX number on the bill to ensure it is a tax invoice. If you have not registered with the tax authorities, please do so immediately.

Hi, kraviravi,

I know all the process of how to create the bill but don't know what would be the good format, that's what I've asked. I would have been very happy if you would have just posted the attachment rather than your personal assumption.

Thanks.

Rohan,

This is a professional forum, and it is preferable not to use SMS language in postings. We have many members who like to improve their English language skills, and here at CiteHR, we can use our postings as a way to help our colleagues.

Hi Rohan,

Since this is a professional forum, you will receive both negative and positive comments on your post, and everyone should be prepared for it. It is important to keep your language straightforward and simple when seeking guidance or help. You may want to visit update.office.com, a Microsoft portal that offers many editable formats. You can choose a format based on your requirements and even make modifications as needed.

Hi, Mr. Bastawalla,

Every person has a different way to deal with something. Maybe your way is different than mine, but I love the way I deal with these things.

And coming back to your help, "update.office.com" is not working. Thanks for the reply anyway.

Rohan,

Microsoft must have updated their site details. Here is the link Microsoft Office - Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel - Office.com, and you may go to the template section where you will find a lot of templates available.

Don’t be confused just scan the hard copy of your bill/invoice and send it to the client.
