Dear Sandeep,
Good to note that in such a short span of time you have become Jr Manager. However, you have not mentioned your qualification.
By the very nature of your job you will learn commercial aspects of the business. There is great scope further. You can end up in becoming Director Commercial Operations as well.
For the effectiveness of your job, I recommend you taking training on "Negotiations Skills for Procurement/Commercial Professionals". Please note that these negotiations are different from soft skills negotiations.
After 1-2 years in the job you may do regular MBA in Ops and Fin (dual specialisation). Else you may do MBA in SCM as well. If it is not possible, then you may do courses on procurement. I recommend this because procurement is going to be essence of your job. You should be very strong in basics of procurement.
All the best in your new job.

Hello Dinesh Sir and Hi Sandeep, I have read the above discussion and wanted to put forth my questions.
I completed my Engineering in Information Technology in 2014. Worked with an IT company as Software developer for 6 months and then recently since December 2014 i switched my job to work with a new online start up company as a Techno Commercial Executive.
I wanted to know have i taken the right decision, i was always interested in Technical+ Commercial profile and i got one.
But what will be the future as here i have no one to look and learn as its a start up company (We are just 5 people)
So my question is where can i hone my skills and get the right education and what needs to be done so as to work as a techno commercial manager or Director in the future.
Currently i have no knowledge of this domain as i am a software engineer by education.
Guide me through the decisions i should make
Thanks and Regards
