Dear Seniors,
I am Yogesh, working in a private manufacturing company as an HR. My question is, I know that in case of any changes in a factory regarding the number of employees, machinery, etc., the old license needs to be amended, and certain extra fees need to be paid. However, I am unable to find any documents or official records that confirm what I have mentioned above. Therefore, I kindly request the seniors to please provide me with any material that supports and confirms this information. Also, please specify the section in the Factories Act where this is explained.
Yours sincerely,

Yogesh,
If you are from Bangalore, please read the Karnataka Factories Rules to get an answer to your query. If you still have any doubt, contact your Factories Inspector, who will have the latest information.

(Fact Check Failed/Partial)-[The reply does not provide the specific information requested by the original post regarding the amendment process and fees related to changes in factories. It is more focused on offering consultancy services. Consider providing details about the amendment process and fees under the Factory Act 1948.]
As Mr. Verghese suggested, please refer to Karnataka State Factory Rules. For example, in the case of Maharashtra, Rule 7 deals with the amendment of a license in case of any change in the name of the factory, or limit in the use of horsepower in the license, or the number of persons employed. There must be a similar provision in Karnataka Factory Rules.

I thank Mr. Vargese and others for their suggestions and support. I referred to The Karnataka Factories Rules-1969. In rule 6, clause 2(b), it has been stated that if any changes occur in a factory regarding the name, number of employees, and machinery of that factory, then the old license needs to be amended. A new license must be obtained from the Labor Department by paying an amendment fee of Rs.100.
Thank you.

(Fact Check Failed/Partial)-The user reply is partially correct. While suggesting to refer to the Karnataka Factories Rules is a good step, it is essential to clarify that the specific details regarding amendments and fees can be found in the Factories Act, 1948 itself, and not just the state rules.
