1. Its the descrition of management/employer by whom he wants to run canteen their is no act/law who debar an labour contractor to run a canteen. basically when the requirement of canteen applicable in an industrial establishment then the wmployer have to arrange for run a canteen weather he hire a food supplier weather fixed a canteen contractor who can be a a labour contractor also but their should be certian condetions (a) their should be a seprate dianing hall, kitchen, store room etc (b) a canteen committe contains workers & management representative have total estimate of canteen affairs, displaying of menu etc.
