Hi Priya, How about "Hestia" - name of Greek goddess of Food. I think it sounds catchy and corporates will like it. Oh... and royalty goes to Mahesh !!! :-) Reagrds, Prasanna

Hi All,
Thank you so much for your post. I will surely give you all royalty charges and, as Anita said, breakfast also :p once I pick up the best name from all your posts. :)
Also, suggest to me if we provide healthy snacks like salads, sandwiches, soup, etc., to corporate offices during their tea time, will employees opt for this? Or the regular kind of snacks like samosas, vadas, all those oily junk snacks.
Please, please give a genuine reply to this. I am trying very hard to start a business on this. It would be very thankful if all you guys support me on this.

Hi Priya,
I have experienced employees commenting on health and hygienic snacks. When provided, they would want to taste samosas and kachoris periodically. You can include samosas, kachoris, pav bhaji, etc., provided they should be cooked in low-fat oil. It should also mention the calorie level in each food when consumed.

Hi Mahesh, How about some healthy fruit and veg salad and soups, poha, upma, low fat chapati wrap. And once in a month samosa and kachori’s. What do you feel about this idea?

Hi Priya,
Apart from what was discussed above, you may consider providing them with juices and shakes. Many people opt for this option based on my experience.
You can also offer rolls such as veg roll, potato roll, cheese roll, paneer roll, etc., which are good in taste and not too expensive.

Hi Priya,
Having a fruit bowl available periodically is good. Since it's going to be a tea break, employees shouldn't mix it with soups, fruit bowl, ice cream, etc. However, occasionally offering these items is acceptable. The finance department will also be pleased, as serving these items may lead to a decrease in the consumption of coffee, tea, etc., resulting in cost savings :)
The key factor is how you calculate the cost. Many companies provide a budget based on the number of employees rather than the items served. If an organization is willing to spend Rs. 15 per employee, you must allocate that amount by offering items accordingly. Additionally, seasonal foods like fruit baskets and ice cream (especially in winter) should be carefully planned.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Hi Mahesh,
Thank you again for your valuable suggestions. I have allocated a budget of Rs 20 per employee. In addition to snacks, we will also provide benefits such as health tips and yoga sessions on a monthly basis.
I am still seeking more feedback on this topic. Currently, opinions are mixed. Some suggest offering both healthy snacks and regular chat items, while others recommend only providing healthy snacks. Could you please discuss this with your co-workers and share a few more suggestions with me?
Thank you.
