Dear Members,
I had joined this Institute that provides Aviation & Retail Training in June '12 as Head Retail Training. I was offered 4.80 CTC but the breakup was not disclosed, they said you will get 40K in hand with a deduction of 200/- (Prof Tax) but when the salary was given, they deducted over 4K per month (TDS).
Next month my and sales team salary was deducted by 5k without information; admissions were not happening as per their expectations.
In the month of October '12, I and the sales team were asked to resign in a day without notice period.
Now we are asking the CEO for the due salary for the month of Sept and Oct as I worked up to the 9th of October. However, he is not ready to respond to any of the emails sent or SMS/calls.
Please note the following important details during the job duration:
1) We were not given salary slips or salary breakup.
2) Once the salary cheque got bounced, which was repaid without providing the loss I faced.
3) There is no salary breakup given at the time of offer; however, the offer letter mentions 4.80 LPA as CTC.
4) 4k was deducted in the name of TDS, but no proof is given.
5) Salary was reduced by 5k without any intimation; however, I was only meant to train there, not for sales.
Please help as I do not know what to do in this situation; I am facing a financial crisis.
Regards,
Saurabh

Dear Saurabh,
You need to send a letter to your employer asking for the reason for your termination without notice, details about any pending payments, and information regarding the pay reduction that was implemented. In the letter, make sure to mention the points above and also cc the Local Labour Commissioner. Hopefully, these actions will help resolve the situation. If not, please consider approaching the Labour Court as you may find some relief there.
Thank you.
