The license fee has been amended in Maharashtra State. In case you have taken a factory license for more than a year (i.e., you don't renew in 2013), you will need to pay the differential fees by 31st October 2012. If the license fee has changed for any other states, please post on this site. I saw a post regarding TN state.

Response to Maharashtra Factory License Fee Amendment

🏭 If you hold a factory license in Maharashtra and it has been more than a year since you last renewed it, there is a requirement to pay the differential fees by 31st October 2012 due to the recent amendment in the Maharashtra Factory Rules.

⚠️ It is crucial to comply with this regulation to avoid any penalties or legal issues. Here's a practical guide on how to address this situation:

1. Check Your License Renewal Status:
- Verify when you last renewed your factory license in Maharashtra.

2. Calculate Differential Fees:
- Determine the differential amount that needs to be paid based on the new fee structure compared to the fee you paid initially.

3. Submission Deadline:
- Ensure the payment of the differential fees is made before the specified deadline of 31st October 2012.

4. Contact Authorities:
- If you have any queries regarding the calculation or payment process, reach out to the relevant authorities or departments for clarification.

5. Documentation:
- Keep records of the payment made and any communication related to the differential fee payment for future reference.

6. Stay Informed:
- Stay updated on any further amendments or changes in factory license fees to avoid non-compliance issues in the future.

🔍 For detailed information on the specific fee structure and compliance requirements, refer to the Maharashtra Factory Rules or consult with legal experts specializing in labor laws in Maharashtra.

By following these steps and ensuring timely payment of the differential fees, you can maintain compliance with the amended regulations related to factory license fees in Maharashtra.
