I am working in a process industry which works for 24hours.Our management decided to reduce Over Time Wages. Can any body help me about Cluster Manning to reduce Over Time Wages or any other technique for reducing Over Time wages.

If any company pay OT as per statutory the OT is is a pain for Companies.
Take last 3 or 6 Months average OT payments list and then divided it into ratio.
Eg : Jan : 25000 + Feb 38000 + Mar 41000 - Apr 19000 + May 20000 + June 39000 then Average is 30334.
If the Minimum wage in your Industry is 5000/- then the Ration will be 6.
You also consider the peak timings, Total OT hours and the gaps.
In above example rather than paying OT if you recruit 6-7 Manpower then the total Manhours in a Month will be 1404 hrs which may close the issue of OT.
