The sole culprit against getting along with people is idiosyncratic imperialism. The motive manifests at the following levels:

1. I am always right or
2. So I must prevail or
3. Whatever may I must prevail or
4. By hook or crook, I must prevail.

The modus operandi of idiosyncratic imperialism is the JUSTICE MODEL, which has the following components:

1. Provocation,
2. Distortion,
3. Misinterpretation,
4. Fabrication, and
5. Rationalization.

The remedy lies in the HARMONY MODEL, the components of which are:

1. Maturity,
2. Wit,
3. Humor,
4. Creative Intelligence, and
5. Diffusability (the ability to diffuse tension from within and without).

Dear Sunayna,

Namaskar.

May I amend the story a bit?

TREATMENT OF SELF-AGGRANDIZEMENT AND BELITTLING OTHERS.

The hare and tortoise were living side by side. The hare was arrogant and one day to show off its strength told the tortoise - "You lazy fellows! Work slowly. You cannot even run. Let us have a race." So there was the FIRST race and the tortoise concluded - SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE.

So there was a second race. This time the hare was alert and won. So the hare concluded - FAST AND STEADY WINS THE RACE.

The tortoise won once and the hare won once. So it was inconclusive as to who was the victor and who was vanquished. So there was the THIRD RACE. Now there was the river. So the tortoise offered to ferry the hare across the river. The hare accepted the offer and was ferried across the river. This act of the tortoise melted the arrogance of the hare, and it offered to carry the tortoise unto the target. The tortoise agreed, and at the end of the race, they declared jointly -

SINCERE AND COOPERATIVE WIN THE RACE.

This is the latest strategy of survival.
