Hi,
I m working with a small company which is based in mumbai .company has provided me my pf a/c no- but i havent yet received a PF slip, when I asked for PF slip Boss had given me my account number .How can I rely on that number which was dictated to me on phone.I have a doubt in my mind about it .
I need to check my PF acount whether it is existing or not,or boss is telling me a lie and deducting money from my salary every month.

Hi DK Pani,
Follow either of the following :
1. Request for the PF No and account balance in writing via a office
memo, e.mail or official correspondence for records by writing to
Mumbai office.
2. Speak to other office colleagues in Mumbai to verify the establishment
code and number, and, their PF slips.
3. Speak to the guy who is maintaining PF in Mumbai
4. As a last resort, write to PF Office, Mumbai to seek confirmation of your
PF No. and PF Slip(s). They may respond.
