Is P F Form No. 2 for new joined employee, complusary to send to local P F office or can be kept at company in employee's personal file?
I know that PF form 2 to be sent to PF office for New Joined employee but h.r. executive of company I am working in , told me that its not required and only
PF form 5-10 from Employer side (5 for new joined) is to be sent.
So pls do let me know if PF Form 2 is not required to send to PF Office.?

Hi Now a days you don’t want to submit Form 5&10. But its mandatory to submit Fomr2 nomination form to PF department

now ecr challan detail applicable with effect from 01-03-2012. so not required PF form 5-10 from Employer side (5 for new joined) is to be sent. but P F Form No. 2 for new joined employee, complusary to send to local P F office

Thank you for prompt replies... In my previous working organization where I worked for 7 yrs. as HR Dept-in-charge/Generalist, I used to send PF Form 2 in the same month in which new joined.
But here in pune where i am working in, existing employee in HR Dept. who is looking after PF forms submission, said me "
not necessary to send pf form 2", so i asked.
