In any other training sites, even on this site, people urgently ask, 'Need trainers immediately in.... Please send your resumes, profiles, modules, etc.' We rush to send our resumes and wait for a response. Unfortunately, individuals do not respond to personal calls or messages. The thread continues to be posted. Regrettably, the individual initiating the thread fails to acknowledge when their requirement has been met with a simple 'Yes, I have fulfilled my requirement. No more trainers needed.' This lack of courtesy is evident. Additionally, I have observed that in their enthusiasm, trainers post replies even years later because the thread remains open. It's a sad and frustrating situation.

You may tell the forum saying 'Thanks a lot for your response. I met my requirement.' That’s it. Later if somebody follows the thread is also ok. But you have done your duty.

Dear Mr. Rao,

I fully endorse your viewpoints, as I myself am one of the sufferers like you! Many posters are there to place such requirements (bogus perhaps!), with the basic objective being to collect as many email IDs and mobile numbers as possible, so that they can be consolidated and sold on CDs! If they mention 'urgently required', they will be able to collect the data in double quick time! Hahaha. Jokes apart, there is a lack of commitment or seriousness while doing a posting. I take up similar issues on other professional sites where I am a member and pull up the so-called moderators who do not bother to give guidelines and pull up the indisciplined, uncultured lot. Time and again, the moderators need to announce the DOs and DON'Ts, as many newcomers are entering the arena and the existing members also need to be constantly reminded.

If discipline does not arise from within, it needs to be implemented or imposed from outside!

Dear Sirs,

It is thought-provokingly true that marketing agents, with various consultancies, have gone to such lengths to collect phone numbers and email IDs to promote their existing and upcoming products to unsuspecting people, whether it be after a specific time or for the current one they had previously advertised.

It has now become a common practice among most advertising agencies, recruitment institutes, and headhunters. When they have more data (people) to approach, they can reach more individuals and convey their message to a wider audience, who may not actually need it, may not understand the email or message they receive, and may simply delete it after reading.

In our current age of inexpensive and virtually cost-free marketing strategies, it may not be long before we only see these types of advertisements on TV and online platforms.

Dear Mr. Sundaram,

You are absolutely right. In every site related to training, this is the story. Let us keep on fighting this trend. My pain is, at least they don't thank the respondents for having taken the pain to give them data. And secondly, the thread runs for months, foolishly, when it said 'urgently.' Funny!
