Respected Seniors,
A new employee joined our organization in May 2012. EPFO Form 2 was earlier sent in hardcopy with the monthly return to the PF Office. However, since April 2012, EPFO has gone online, and we are no longer required to file the monthly return in hard copy to the PF office. I wanted to know how I can file this Form 2. Is there any procedure online, or should we file it in hard copy as we used to do previously? Kindly provide your valuable suggestions.

I want to withdraw my PF amount from the previous company. However, the company is asking me to pay 40k plus for the penalty of not serving a two-month notice period. Can anybody help me and contact me at negipoonam21@gmail.com?

Dear Negi,
If you file your PF transfer, the application at a certain stage also goes through processing with your last company, and the company can stop the process. It would be better if you ask your present employer to buy out your notice period from your last company, i.e., the present employer will pay the notice period penalty.
Thanks,
