Dear frnd,
According to me following points are very important before the joining of any person:
1. First of all it depends what NGO it is ? E.g. working for women and children? HIV research? Working for street children? etc
2. What post the person is joining? E.g. Sr. OR Jr.
3. Whether he has to do back office OR a field counselor?
The Joining Kit:
a. Normal Stationary- writing PAD, Pen,
b. ID Card
c. Short hand book on
1. Near By police station number and the Names of ACP,SIP etc
2. Near By hospital list and contacts
3. Details of the place the counselor has to work
d. Sim Card (if you are providing)
e. office desk if a counselor has to do desk work in office
The Induction Program:
a. Detail about the NGO
b. Project Completed
c. Current Projects
d. Projects upcoming if any
e. Details about Funding Companies OR Govt. Departments
f. Total project based Teams
g. Your own counseling forum (IfAny)
h. If NGO has received any Awards & Recognitions
i. Any Awards OR recognition NGO has given to the counselors.
j. Training Programs NGO Conduct for the Staff. (Past & Future)
