Please let me know what are the return under factory act 1948.
I am newly join in manufacturing industries & my boss assin me take care of all return annually as well as half yearlly returne & All statutory complainces
Please let me know about that along with form no.

Below stated info will help you...
(A) Factory Act
1.Form No 20 -Annual return to be paid before 15th January.
2.Form No.21-Half Yearly return before 15th July.
(B).PF Act
1.Form 5 & 10 (Qualifying & Leaving emple)
Form 12 A-Consolidated statement of Dues and remittance -25th of every month
2.Form 3A & 6A-Members & consolidates statement Annual return to be paid before 30th April.
(C)Bonus
1.Form D -return to be paid for Bonus ,within 30 days after the expiry of time limit specified in bonus act.
(D)Contract Labour Act.
1.FormXXV(25) -Annual Return by Principal Emplyer to be sent to the registering officer-before 15th Feb(following the end of the year)

Sir,
Returns forms (yearly, half yearly, PF, Contract labour, and etc..) is same as above mentioned and its changed as per state.
Basically, i want to know for Uttrakhand. because i am working in Uttrakhand as HR Executive...
please clarify the concern details...

further on the factory acts, you may have to submit the following
Form V - list of holidays - once in year - due every december 31.
Half yearly returns in Form 21 - due july
annual returns in Form 20 - due jan 31
Renewal of factory license - due every october
maintenance of statutory registers like form 2, 12, VI, II, 26, 26A, inspection registers, etc
Form 18 - in case of any industrial accidents, 18b - further report of accidents,
Form 3A - change of manager
Form XXV - returns for contract labour and so on..

Dear All We have H.O at B'glore & Regional off at M'bai. We do not deduct PT from employee & dont have pt registered number in maharshtra.
We have more than 200employees in our payroll.Is their any provision for not deducting PT from employees Salary. Please Suggest
