I have a problem regarding my Employees' Pension Fund. Here are the brief details.
I joined my company's Head office in Kolkata in January 1975. Subsequently, I was transferred to my company's Bangalore Sales office in February 1985 and then to the company's Plant in Bangalore in October 1986. I retired in September 2011.
My Employees Provident Fund balance was transferred from my Kolkata Provident Fund account at Park Street to my Employees Provident Fund account at Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road (when I was in the Bangalore Sales office), and subsequently, this fund was transferred to my Provident Fund office at K R Puram, Whitefield, Bangalore, when I was transferred to the Bangalore Plant.
When I retired, I received my Total Provident Fund in February 2012, which included the balance from the Kolkata Provident Fund, the balance at Park Street Provident Fund office, and the balance at K R Puram, Whitefield.
Later, in April 2012, I received my pension, but the amount was short. When I visited the K R Puram office in Whitefield, they informed me that they had calculated the pension based on my year of joining as 1986 since they had not received Annexure K from the Employees Provident Fund office at Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road. My pension should have been Rs. 2050.00, but I was given Rs. 1752.00.
The K R Puram office in Whitefield advised me to obtain Annexure K from the Employees Provident Fund office at Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road. However, when I visited the Employees Provident Fund office at Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road, they mentioned that it was an old matter and a time-consuming affair.
I have been contributing to the employees' pension fund since 1975 and possess Provident Fund slips dating back to 1975 from the West Bengal Employees Provident Fund Office, as well as slips from the Employees Provident Fund office at Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road and the K R Puram office, serving as proof of the deductions.
I would greatly appreciate any member's expertise and solution on how I can obtain my full pension for my service at the Company's Kolkata (Head office), Bangalore Sales office, and Bangalore Plant. I have had continuous service with no breaks from January 1975 to September 2011.

Dear Sir,
I would suggest you collect evidence in terms of acknowledgment and voice recordings from Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road. Meet the Editor-in-Chief of the local newspaper and get it highlighted. Public funds (Pf) must be released without delay regardless of old records.

You prefer to file a complaint with the RPFC in Kolkata where the mistake occurred. Obtain an acknowledgement for the same and preserve it carefully. Give them some reasonable time to act and rectify the mistake. If no action is taken even after, say, one month, you may file an application under the Right to Information Act (RTI) asking them to let you know what action was taken on your complaint. Your case will be settled promptly!
