Hello Permander Kumar,
From the error message you've provided, it seems like there might be an issue with the format or structure of the data you're trying to upload. The PF software is indicating that there are invalid numbers of fields in lines 17 and 18.
Here's a step-by-step guide to help you troubleshoot the issue:
1. 📁 Check the data file format: Make sure that the file you're trying to upload is in the format accepted by the PF software. This is usually an Excel (.xls or .xlsx) or CSV file.
2. 🧾 Verify the number of fields: Each line in your data file should have the exact same number of fields. For example, if lines 1-16 have 10 fields (columns), then lines 17, 18, and so on should also have 10 fields.
3. ✅ Validate your data: Make sure all necessary fields are filled in correctly. Any missing or extra data can cause errors during upload.
4. 🔄 Try uploading in smaller batches: If you're still facing issues, try uploading the data in smaller batches. For example, you could first upload data for 10 employees, then another 10, and so on.
5. 📞 Contact Support: If following the above steps doesn't resolve your issue, consider reaching out to the PF software's customer support for further assistance.
As a reminder, it's critical to maintain accurate employee data in compliance with the Employees' Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952.
Hope this helps! Do let me know if you have any other questions.
