Hi Dilip,
Very good suggestions. Thank you for posting.
However, I generally feel that trainers (no offense) need to concentrate more on what they speak during the training sessions. Most of the time, they go on in a speech flow in vain, causing them to forget the essence of many sentences used to cover the subject. This not only leads to confusion and arguments but also results in no good conclusion, leaving listeners dissatisfied and unclear. Understanding the audience and coordinating with them are essential. Merely explaining without engaging the audience is not productive. Instead, providing various perspectives and engaging activities leads to effective learning with enjoyment in a practical sense.
I have attended such training sessions that seem to drag on endlessly with PowerPoint presentations filled with letters and random font colors. It becomes regrettable to ignore reading books that are far more informative and engaging. However, there have been a few exceptional in-house/classroom training sessions as well.
Please let me know if you need further assistance or clarification.
Best regards,
