Hi Hetal,
The compliance depend on the type of employees in your organisation and also the role you are handling. As in for a HR person various act & laws applicalbe to employees has already been pointed out by Praveen. You need to go in details of these various acts and rules. It is advisable to appoint a consultant to comply with various act & rules.
While defining salary structure you need to take care of Minimum Wages Act (state wise), PF Act, ESIC & Gratuity Act.
