Annual Returns under Karnataka MWR, POW & MBR - Can we file the NIL returns separately in Form III under Minimum Wage Rules, Form VI under Payment of wages rules & Form L under Maternity Benefit Rules? Because number of employees zero.

FYI this is establishment not a factory. Here X Co., having 3 branches (a, b & c), a & b branches we have already files the Form U annual returns.
But C branch we can’t file the return because the employees who are working in that premises the same details included in the annual return of b branch, the reason is the employees working most of the time in b premises & the registers records maintained in b branch only.
In this case can we submit the NIL returns for C branch, please clarify.

All three branches have different identity? i mean the establishment license. If so how can C branch employee returns details will go in B branch returns Regards Praveen Bhosale

here a & b having license but c is not having license because shop act is not applicable for that area, but other acts applicable. Regards Bharath S

FYI, C branch not taken any license hence act is not applicable.
Shop act is not applicable because not notified area but Minimum wage, Payment of wage, maternity benefit & other allied acts applicable but here there is no rules to obtain license for above said acts, except Shop act & Contract Labour act.

If it is not coming under the shop establishment act, then no need to file the returns. Can you explain why shop and establishment act is not applicable, then it is easy to tell you. Regards Praveen
