The Govt. of Maharashtra has amended the Maharashtra Factories Rules, 1967. The recent amendment came into effect from 3 Jan 2012.
It provides for online payment of fees, filing of returns, application for registration, renewal of licenses, notices etc. The provisions are mandatory.
New sub-rule 119 is inserted which provides for filing of monthly returns in form 27A. Existing form 27 providing for Annual Returns is substituted with a new one.
