i want some suggestions, actually i am doing a job in a co. as a counselor, but i want to make my career in hr profile. my prob is i gave interview in my co. for counselor but according to my qualification they gave me appointment letter of hr executive but now they are sending me in field to do marketing for their product, they want I'll do some marketing and then counsel the walk-ins, i cant leave the job as my self conscious does not allow me to do so because training and all formalities have done with me. the co. has taken a franchisee of a product and for that i was selected and there is no one in the team of that franchisee. but i cannot see any growth in this co. with my interest of profile

In very simple words you must look for another good option for you which will fulfill your needs and according to your career goal.
It is really appreciating that you are concerned about your Employer but you must not forget that you have to establish yourself in the world according to your interest, educational background or what you wanna do and cant waste time.
in your query above you have not mention your qualification but if im not wrong and seems to me, you are also from HR and just bcz of this you wanna make your career in HR, right??

Employers may give you most appealing things in your jobs that may tend to get tempted with the offer/ rather getting confused whether to stick to your current interest or try which is not your ambient and learn out of it.
But take this from me - please do what you are interested in. If you go whatever the offer that is given to you - you would rather end up in the same confusion after couple of months
You have done your MBA - counselling is a job ( If you are happy with it) is the best HR job that noone will get easily and its a unique role.
If you find your job un-interested, you will never find any job interested. Decide which way you want to go and stick to it.
All the Best !!
