Staff Bus policy may cover the following items. I hope this facility is for bringing employees to the office and back.
1. Route for each bus and the starting time of the bus.
2. Buses should run only through the main road, not to any bifurcation to a side road or lane.
3. Employees will walk a few minutes to reach the scheduled bus stop location.
4. Every employee must reach the bus stop 5 minutes prior to the actual time.
5. The logic of the timing will be such that the bus should reach the office at least 5 minutes earlier than the scheduled office starting time.
6. If the bus does not report or breaks down during the journey, communication should be made amongst the bus passengers from the starting point passengers and the left-out passengers from the point of breakdown.
7. The agreement between the transport provider and the organization should stipulate that in case of any service failure or breakdown, a proportionate deduction of the day's service charge will be made from the transporter's invoice.
8. Employees should be advised to use route transport - bus/train/auto/taxi, etc., as finalized by the organization, and the amount should be reimbursed to employees.
9. In case of more failures (maximum 3 per month), there should be some penal clause for the transporters.
10. Buses will leave from the office at least 5 minutes after the office closes.
11. Any other clause as the organization deems fit.
