It's an excellent concept & I'm sure your services will gain popularity soon. Personally I would not mind paying an affordable amount per candidate referral but I think this is more suited for big companies who will be able to allocate funds specifically for finding references. It's like having an alternative to buying database access & quite a good one as here we will be getting targeted candidates. The only problem [if any] seems to be that the candidates referred may not be looking for a change so in effect it's an ideal deal for head hunters who would most willingly buy the references & then follow up on the candidates.
I think some companies run small campaigns where they let anyone refer a candidate to them & then they pay the referee a fee if the candidate referred by them is recruited. This too is gaining popularity as even employees are sending references to the client.

I think the important part (and the one I couldn't get information on from the web site) is what is classified as a 'qualified' applicant.
In the current market (at least inside the U.S.), getting applicants is not a problem. I have San Francisco Bay Area customers who have received hundreds of responses to job postings off of a local job board. It is screening these which is the challenge (and what keeps my company in business).
It is an interesting idea. I suspect that it would appeal to some companies as a way to limit their costs for getting applicants. But this only works if you can get a limited number of 'qualified' applicants and be guaranteed a fit.

Well, I think I almost bought into a potential scam you should all be aware of. This company has complaints posted on www.ripoffreport.com. In the search bar, put in hirebug, Inc. and you'll see all of the negative comments. Beware of www.hirebug.com!!!!!
It turns out that with all that was said about HireBug, the company that their owner was affiliated with before, was cleared of any worng doing by the state of Florida.
I have tried HireBug, and they delivered on everything they said they would. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it only cost a dollar to try, and it worked. I would refer them to other people.
If anyone has any questions, let me know, I can answer them.

Shame on you Trieu for bringing that site into a forum that is supposed to be professional and a forum of disovery. For those fo you who wasted time on that site, you might want to read this one beiconline.org . Trieu actually is a disgruntled employee of HihreBug and has a lawsuit being filed against by a large group of owners suing former employees taking the business model and running.
A company this large and with the contracts they have is no scam. I use them for well over $1,300 per month and have great results.
Trieu you should consider your information more closely when posting in this forum.

Great information! Guys, this website you refer to has postings stating the drug dealers short changed their users and that the Florida Attorney General is a scam as well as Wal Mart, Pizza Hut and countless others. Please do not turn this forum into an anonymous posting room where people can perpetuate lies and hate. We have thousands of people who have died for freedom of speech and expression, please try to use it responsibly.
Thank you Strong Hires for backing me up. I have had great success as well. I was really surprised by what I read at www.beiconline.org. I wish that I had read that site first because I had to do a lot of talking to start using HireBug, but now that I have, everybody is happy. Also some people might have had a bad experience with their HireBug Rep. Mine is great, and helps me with anything.
I hate to seem like I am really pushing a company, but HireBug has made things easier for me, and the fact that I'm saving the company money makes me look really good. I'd be happy to pass on the name and number of my Rep if anybody want's a demo, just let me know.
