Thanks for valuable information i need some more information whether the candidate with Diploma in (EHS) Environment,Health& Safety Engineering and with a background of Bsc (Maths physics & Chemistry) experience of 4+ years as a supervisor is suitable for a safety officer in a manufacturing concern.

For Safety Office:
The Supreme Court has approved only 3 colleges in Tamil Nadu:
1) RLI Chennai, or CLI in Mumbai (Diploma in Industrial Safety)
2) NIT Trichy (M.Tech in Industrial Safety)
3) Others can be pursued through distance education from Anna University, Coimbatore, and Annamalai University in Chidambaram / Chennai.
For nurses, dressers-cum-compounders, and one sweeper-cum-ward boy:
A person possessing a Diploma in Industrial Health or its equivalent shall not be required to possess the certificate of training as aforementioned.
The Chief Inspector may, subject to specified conditions, grant exemption from the requirements of this sub-rule if, in his opinion, a suitable person possessing the necessary qualifications is unavailable for appointment.
In the case of a person who has served as a Factory Medical Officer for a period of not less than 3 years on the date of commencement of this rule, the Chief Inspector may, subject to the condition that the said person shall obtain the aforementioned certificate of training within a period of three years, relax the qualification.
