Dear Seniors,
I am working in a non-engineering company based in Roorkee. Management has instructed me to make the ESI card for casual workers whose salary is less than 6500/-. However, I have informed them that if we want to issue an ESI card for casual employees, we must pay at least the minimum wage and also contribute to PF & ESIC.
Management has proposed that we can only pay the ESI contribution of 4.75%, but not the PF contribution.
I kindly request your valuable suggestions on this matter at your earliest convenience.
