Dear,
Please submit Form 25A to avail the cash benefit of the deceased IP along with the ESI card and death certificate to the branch office within 6 months. If it is more than six months, it has to go to the regional office through the branch office, but it will take time. Funeral expenses are around Rs. 5000/- payable to the nominee/legal heir.

Funeral expenses limit is Rs10000 in lump sum to defray expenditure incurred on funeral.

We are an engineering outsourcing company with an office in Pune. I would like to know the changed rules of ESIC and the reactions of companies that are going to face it. We have ESIC contributions, and since gross wages have increased to 21000, many of our employees are going to be affected. Is it compulsory for every organization to pay ESIC? Please guide me.
