Dear Members,

Could anyone please let me know the procedure for registering for PF and ESI for handicapped (disabled) individuals? I am a person with a 65% disability and I would like to enroll for ESI and PF benefits in my new job.

For ESI enrollment of handicapped persons, you need to declare that while submitting the online form, two options are available right at the beginning. For PF nomination, there is no need to declare the physical status of the person.

Dear Nirmala,

Dear Sir,

I am also a disabled person with 40% disabilities (Disability Type: LOCO MOTOR DISABILITY/ CEREBRAL PALSY). This disability occurred during the course of my work in 2010. I am also receiving a monthly pension. Can I get the ceiling increase benefit of 25000/-? ESIC has already uploaded my disability certificate, but the company says that this ceiling increase benefit is only for new employees, not for current employees. Please guide me.
