Dear Roop,
It depends on whether you are going for a sole proprietorship, partnership, private, or public company. In the case of a sole proprietorship and a partnership firm, you don't need to go for a Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association. Both MoA and AoA are mandatory for public sector companies, and private companies also opt for these considering they may go public in the future.
