Dear All,
Please help me. I have 8 months of experience as an HR Generalist in a mid-level market research company in Delhi/NCR where I was paid 15,000 from the start and no incentives. My question is:
Is it okay for my career growth if I go for consultancy and confine myself to recruitment? What are the growth prospects in consultancies in Delhi NCR? Where is earning more, consultancy, or company in HR Generalist profile? What is the average earning of an HR Generalist with around 8 months of experience and thereafter? How much does one earn through consultancy?
I am attaching my CV since I am currently looking for a job.

Dear Swathi,
Greetings for the day!
As far as I'm concerned, any HR professional's life will start with a consultancy, and one who is career growth-oriented must not confine to it. With 8 months of experience, some companies may not offer you a job as an HR Generalist. However, if they are offering it, I think it would be best to accept that job. Generally, in companies, HR Generalists earn up to 18K per month, with a take-home pay of around 15K to 16K.
All the best for your career.

Dear Swati,
It is always advisable to start with a company, whether it is a Generalist profile or a Recruitment profile, as this can help you in future prospects. If you start with a consultancy, it is sometimes difficult to change jobs to a company as companies usually don't prefer candidates from consultancies.
