HI,
I am working in one of the company in Hyderabad, India. i joined in this organization on Dec 2010, but since i was on bench. i mentioned i cant to be relocated for at least 6months while accepting the offer letter . Today the HR executive called me and told that i had been terminated as they do not have any project more and company business not good. This happened to 10 more friends of mine sitting in bench with me. they are not ready to give 2 months of notice period also.
HR asking me to put the resignation papers on Monday i.e on 18th April so that they can send me the relieving letter with in 15 days. or else they told that they can issue termination letter.
please suggest shall i have to submit the resignation or wait for termination letter. which is better?
how can i move forward as company behaving like this as they know that they dont have projects on Jan 2011 itself. and asking me to go away in 15 days.

Hi Before giving any conclusion/ suggestion on this matter I need to know, How many years do you have experience in your job?

Vikas,
I believe he has to put down his paper before company raise termination letter to him...
even here in my own organization, we have done same to few employees but we have paid them one month extra salary and relived them..
what you suggest?

Hi Siraj,
See i just wanted to know his experience cause if he is a fresher and this is his first company, it means his probation period continue and during the probation period company can dismiss/terminate him without giving prior notice or one month salary.

Dear Mr. Shriraaz
Find out, if you can save your job by relocating, as you were given an option to relocate, at the time of your appointment.
No company will hold you on their pay roles, if they don't have PROJECTS IN HAND.
Manage yourself by searching for better jobs, simultaneously.
With profound regards

Hi All,
Thanks for the information. i am having 2.9 Years of experience while joining.
So now let me know shall i ask termination letter by mentioning the reason that they dont have the project, or should i resign from my side. which is better.
because i have to answer the forthcoming interviews for the question why i have left the company in 3 months of short span.

Resignation is considered a better option than termination.
But that depends on the interviewer.
I doubt if any company will give reason for termination as not having projects. They do not want to look bad specially since the termination letter may be seen by future prospective employees. It is likely that they will simply issue a termination letter without assigning reasons.

Dear
now you are in under probation. In probation period company have the right to terminated. it will be better if you submit your resignation . what terms and condition you have in your offer letter. in our company policy 24 hrs notice is must from both side when you are in probation period.
so it will be better you should submit your resignation otherwise they can terminate you.

Losing a job is of course disturbing. But it is always the case that the employer has ways to reason his decision because when he takes it he does it with all reasons behind him. Employees are always at the receiving end and therefore should be cautious as to what they demand and how justifying could it be. In this case, what I find is that the arguments and conditions in favor of the employee were far weaker than the employer. It is better not to put up conditions when your selling power is low...
