Hi, I have read this series of books, and it helps in building teams and harmony among members. It is applicable in your day-to-day family and professional life. Great reading! The presentation is done quite well. Those who want the full version can buy the book available at good bookstores.

Hi all,
An ocean full of responses for the tiny fish. Yeah... many things we need to emulate from fish (the sign of wisdom). Since it is the time where we hardly learn from others' experiences, at least this fish philosophy would act as a trigger for self-introspection and open the mental blocks one has about attitudes of others and the learning concept itself.
Thanks, buddy, for a great post and keep doing the good work. This is a wonderful forum for knowledge sharing, and knowledge grows more when it is shared with heart.
Have a wonderful day.

Hi Priya,
Being a student and able to make such a nice PowerPoint presentation, as well as sharing it, is highly appreciable. Great job! Creating a template of a fish and using the same template for all these slides would have made them more beautiful.

Hi,
It's a good presentation. This PowerPoint just provoked a thought in my mind that HR tries to keep everyone at ease in the workplace, but if they are too comfortable, they may not perform with the dedication required, as ease often leads to casualness.
When I was a student, I was also enthusiastic about this particular aspect of HR. However, now that I am in the workforce, I sometimes feel that there is more to explore.
Give it some thought and share your insights.

Hi man, my name is Taashu. I am also pursuing my MBA. It was a mind-blowing PPT made by you. Please do give some suggestions on the Fish Philosophy so that I could also do my main project on that as my specialization is HR. My email id is supraja.ashok@gmail.com.

Dear All,
In continuation of this, there is actually a book called "FISH" by Stephen C. Lundin. It's wonderful and a small one with 107 pages. It costs Rs. 125/- only. The book says it's a wonderful way to improve the morale and performance of employees. I would suggest everyone to read it... It's simply great.

This book is all about fun at work and enjoying work.
Fish markets are tough places to work. Monotony, handling dead fishes, smell, and what creativity can one expect in this monotonous job?
And then this book revealed that even in such a place where there seems to be no room for creativity, people enjoyed work by creating new methods and identifying new ways of enjoying work. The author (and it was an actual real-time experience) carries this enthusiasm to her place of work.
Since it started from this fish market, it is referred to as Fish Philosophy.
