I just want to inform you that these societies and clubs for social welfare have questionable practices. They are primarily focused on making money and gaining publicity, nothing more. It is disheartening to see this in my country.
But, we can change this by starting with ourselves. Change yourself first, and then India can change. I am still proud to be an Indian because I am doing my part, are you?

Peeyu, very strange, the information which Raghu has posted consists of email addresses, contact numbers, general awareness, general knowledge, etc. Instead of criticizing, just pick up the best you can do. For example: planting a tree, controlling water and electricity usage, and reducing food waste, of course. The food collection team is genuinely operating free of cost. Just see the glass as half full. At least we can take this message as a reminder for goodwill. I am sorry if my choice of words seemed strange.
