Hi all, please help me with the things that need to be taken care of while leaving an organization. To my knowledge, the experience certificate, PF, and gratuity (if applicable) are the ones that need to be taken care of.
Thanks in advance.

Bhaskar has elaborated on it very nicely. However, I would like to add the following also from the employer's side:
- Prepare full and final settlement of accounts.
- Ask for proof of savings under 80C to calculate income tax and deduct TDS from full and final.
- For gratuity, use Form "L" or Form "M" according to the case. One is to inform about the non-eligibility for gratuity if the employee leaves before completing 5 years of service, and the other is to claim the gratuity by the employee if they have completed 5 years.
- The employer may also host a farewell party.
- The employee may send a goodbye letter with contact details.
Thanks,
Gopal
