Dear All,
One of my employees is not following the dress code policy that we have established for our company. Despite my having called her and warned her twice, she continues to disregard the policy.
I would appreciate your advice on how to address this situation.

Policy is made for the employees to strictly adhere. If a person breaks it, kindly ask them to join an organization where they are more comfortable with their dressing. But before doing that, kindly ask them the reason for not adhering to the company policy. If you are convinced with the answer, you can consider making an exception.

Thank you, Mohammed.
I did speak with her, and it looks like she is willingly doing them. I would like to know what we should do so that others do not break the code.
I have also arranged for a staff meeting on Saturday so that I can talk with employees and help them understand the whole process.

Hi,
You can issue her a memorandum for disobeying the office rules; it'll be an official warning. You should issue a total of 3 memos warning her about the dress code. If she is not ready to change her attitude, that means she is not serious about her job, which is a wrong sign for other employees.
After that, you can ask her to resign with the consent of her immediate boss.

One way out is to ask her to go back and come dressed in appropriate clothes,If this has the support ofthe management that is.

Dear Jascinta,
You don't have to worry so much. The best solution to this problem is whenever she does not follow the dress code, ask her to leave that day itself and tell her to change her dress and come back to work. Try this every now and then whenever she breaks the rule. A time will arise when it will be very embarrassing for her... then hopefully she will learn to follow the rule.

Dear Friend,
The same thing was happening in my organization. I made that person go and come back to the office only when he is in formal attire. He then asked if he would be marked as half-day. I replied, "No." After that, he never did so again.
The best way to implement a dress code could be by awarding the person who comes in the best formal attire. If that person enjoys irritating others, she would definitely be envious of this gesture. Then, from the next time, she would definitely come in formal attire. If this method works, please reply.
