Hi all, I am working with software company since 3years. but recently company started changing few rules of employees. those are 1.Notice period. 2.Salary calculation. Thanks kumar

Dear kumar
Notice Period is generally mentioned in Offer Letter or Appointment Letter, so whenever there is any offer and acceptance means Contract, it will be governed by the Indian Contract Act, 1872. When your company had offered you the job, the Notice period was mentioned over there under any clause in offer letter. So if your employer is trying to change the Notice period as mentined in the offer letter, it is actually violating the contract. You can take the help of any lawyer and filled a suit against the company. But keep it in mind that if your company is changing the Notice Period for new entrants then it has every right to change it.
However if you are thinking from the company's point of view then you need to offer another contract to all your employees with new changed Notice Period by any means and end the previous contract with all the employees.
Attach plz find a indian contract act file for your help.
regards.

They are going to calculate Salary based on working days not based number days in month.
ex: no of days : 30
no of wkng days : 24

previously salary calcu: 30*amount=salary
new salary calcu: 24*amount=salary

Dear apm16.
Once the Notice Period has been mentioned in the Appointment letter as 30 days it can not be changed without offering you the new Notice Period formally and untill you accept the same during your service period in that company.
