Dear All,

Hi! One of my friends is working with a manufacturing company in Mumbai. They want to introduce an Online Induction Program for the new joiners. The purpose of this is to include all the topics that cannot be covered in the general staff induction due to the mass number and time limit. Therefore, management wants to introduce an online induction program for every department where detailed information about the organization and the department is available.

For this, I need your help as he has asked me to suggest the PROCESS & TOPICS FOR THE ONLINE INDUCTION PROGRAM. Also, suggest the forms and formats for the evaluation of such a program.

Excellent initiative. Don't be limited to the substitution of media from face-to-face vs. online. Focus on building a list of FAQs on HR and other related info on the intranet. You don't need to share everything with everyone. Let them know where the info is available on the intranet and contact HR in case of difficulty. I have myself reduced training times from 1 month to a few days. Let me know if you need further help.

I am also facing the same problem; my company is also planning for an online induction program for new joiners. My HR head wants me to suggest ideas and help the vendor in preparing that program. So, I request you to help.

Please help me and give your ideas on how we can prepare an online induction program for new employees.
