First go through the definition of the 'manufacturing process' under section 2(k) of The Factories Act, 1948 & then see whether your service industry is covered under this definition. If the answer is affirmative then see whether 10 or more workers as defined under section 2(l) are working & if the answer is yes then we are to obtain factory licence.
