Dear Seniors, I am receiving X amount for my fitness program, and this amount is to be reimbursed after submitting the bills. So, please guide me – in my salary break-up, should it come under benefits or cash components?
Enclosed is the salary break-up for your reference!!!

On our side, we take this under the Cash component only. The only difference is that our payslip reflects it in a different format like:
Earnings Fixed:
- Basic
- HRA
- Medical reimbursement/allowance
- Conveyance
- Skill allowance/skill premium
- Special allowance/other allowance/personal pay/personal allowance
- Professional development allowance
- Transport allowance
- LTA
Earnings Variable:
- Telephone reimbursement
- Food subsidy
- Children Education Allowance (N/A)
- Car reimbursement/car lease (Actual amount received per annum)
- Fitness Program
Hope that helps :)
