Dear friends,
Can anybody assist me in designing the module of Internship Program for MBA (Sales and Marketing) students?
"Many entrepreneurs have targeted education as the most lucrative field for business, especially management colleges. Instead of producing quality students, colleges are more focused on quantity through heavy promotional activities. This has resulted in the devaluation of MBAs in the market, except for a few top-listed colleges. During Internship Programs, they push students into any company merely to obtain a certificate to meet the University criteria. Companies also take advantage of the students by assigning them tasks unrelated to their specialization. Is this the main objective of having an Internship Program in MBA/BBA programs?"
The same story is happening in our company as well. I want to develop a proper training program module where students receive practical exposure according to their specialization, and the company also benefits from it.
I have outlined a few areas that I believe should be covered in the Internship Program:
1. Company Analysis (SWOT/McKinsey 7S/PEST, etc.)
2. Industry Analysis
3. Training on product knowledge
4. Hands-on experience in Sales/Marketing
5. If possible, incentives for achievements.
I appreciate your input on this matter. I hope this will be beneficial for everyone. Looking forward to your kind response.
Thanks
