Dear All,
One contract labour is leaving in between a month and not claiming his wages from his contror. In this case, what contractor has to do with that salary.
Also worker will not sign in that wage regiser, so it may be marked by labour inspector during his inspection.
Please guide me regarding this....

It is not a big think. May you should hold the salary amount from his RA bill. another way is if in contact the security amount deposited then no worry. when ever the labour claim for wages pay from than

you need to deposit the same with the concerned labour Welfare commissioner within heading of Unpaid/unclaimed wages. As per labour Welfare Act of almost every state there is provision to deposit such unpaid wages with welfare commissioner of that particular state. The labour inspector rightly pionted out.

Dear Senthil,
Please do not panic., You are having the Database of the Contract Labourer. So please send the unclaimed amount by Money order to his residence , and stapel the Acknowledgement copy of the receipt of the money in the Wage registers.
That is fine. No one can question you and this is a fair Practice.

Unpaid wages has to be deposited to the Concerned Labour welfare commissioner office with details of Employee ,
Clearly LWF Act says this ,For your kind information pls go through the Labour Welfare Fund act.
