Hello Pravin,
Welcome to CiteHR and the world of HR! HR is undoubtedly a good career option, but so are many other streams in today's world. I suggest focusing on what suits you, rather than the other way around. That way, you can be sure of getting into a line of activity that you will begin to love.
Why not give some details about your background so that suggestions could be better related to your background and abilities.
Regards,
TS

Hi,
I've completed my graduation (Commerce stream) from Mumbai University securing a first-class percentage in March 2009. My father is a serviceman who looks after maintenance and wear and tear of heavy machines. My elder brother is a ground staff executive at the Domestic Airport.
I am more interested in learning new and different things. I understand that I can gain knowledge and experience by working in HR activities. I observe that recruitment is the foundation of HR. Where should I start, as a recruiter, a payroll person, or a Generalist?
